‘Precious/pests’ is a multimedia commercial illustration project, produced through printmaking. I aim to highlight modern remnants of colonialism by focusing on complex animals in Australian wildlife. Inspired by folk and outsider art, My goal in producing this project was to explore how commercial illustration can be a vessel for activism, alongside self-branding to audiences through wearables.
