Metamorphosis consists of six photographs that morph the life cycle of a Ulysses Butterfly representative of my childhood years to adulthood. Using makeup and post processing I use imagery and print to highlight the innocence and expressiveness of childhood in frame 1-2, then the change and reclusiveness of teenage years in frames 3-5, and finally the coming of age and acceptance of one’s self in the final frame 6.
