The name Limiter comes from “Rev Limiter” and serves as a weekly local automotive magazine that showcases the local NSW East Coast youth’s car scene and gives young people the opportunity and platform to show off their car’s modifications and custom details off of social media, inspired by 90’s and 2000’s automotivemagazines such as ‘Max Power’ and present day NSW drift magazine “Redline”. In the early 2000’s, drivers shared their cars on local magazines as a way to gain exposure, as there were no social media platforms at the time. Limiter aims to revive a lost art/culture that has since been replaced with brain-numbing short-form content online.
